Explore Sentinel Flash Register beta interest ↗Sentinel Alarm watches your Neptune Systems Apex for alarm conditions and notifies you through your chosen notification provider. It’s also a hands-on aquarium project built around simple, inexpensive electronics—with plenty of room to discover and learn.
Explore Sentinel Alarm Join the waitlistSentinel Flow brings flow pumps from different brands together and coordinates them to mimic natural water patterns. It uses real data from 10 reef locations, with timing adjusted to your location—bringing a little more of the reef’s rhythm into your aquarium.
Explore Sentinel FlowExploring practical, budget-minded connections involving EcoTech Marine’s Mobius platform. The goal is useful integration with understandable technology; capabilities still need testing.
Explore Sentinel LinkComplete and functioning: local HYDROS monitoring and control, from aquarium temperature and outlet states to controller and bus power health. The implementation stays private.
Explore Sentinel VaultA completed personal Mac app, not available for others to use, that brings Apex and GHL equipment—including devices without supported APIs—into one view. Stronger alarming and Home Assistant integration make that information more useful, helping you understand what needs attention.
Explore Sentinel for MacGHL access, distributed aquarium control, solar, home automation and small experiments with room to grow.
Useful technology should be within reach. Sentinel starts with familiar, well-documented building blocks and looks for budget-friendly approaches to problems that can feel complicated or expensive.
The story behind Sentinel ↗Plain explanations, small experiments and room to learn. Bring your curiosity, whether this is your first electronics project or your next deep dive.
Explore what inexpensive, readily available electronics can do before reaching for another costly solution. A local-first direction and no-subscription philosophy guide the work; actual parts costs and release terms remain to be defined.
Established components and documented tools provide a starting point. Each Sentinel project still needs its own testing; familiar technology does not automatically establish compatibility or reliability.
